It’s our store policy to be as informed as possible about our products,
not only
how to wear them and care for them, but how they are made and where.
Environmentally friendly: three come to mind,
BaaBaazuzu made from recycled wool, Baggalini bags
made from recycled milk cartons, and Pilgrim Imports,
made in Thailand but with an environmentally friendly
process in a neighborhood village. This is a growing
concern for all of us.
Locally and American made—we take pride in carrying
the work of several local artists in our jewlery and
accessories. Our Willow and Wish sweaters, Khangura
and Caron Miller Jackets, Tianello and Jess & Jane shirts,
are a few examples of American made products. In
addition, several of our lines come from Canada.
We have clothing made all over the world—
some handmade, some mass produced but we work with our
vendors to eliminate child and other unfair labor practices.
We do try to have quality items at reasonable prices, from
good market practices. If we can’t answer a question about
an item, we’ll try and find out for you.
